1st Colleoni Artillery Group Badge - Xª Flottiglia MAS

The "Colleoni" field artillery group, established in 1944 in La Spezia by Maj. Guido Borriello, was divided into 3 batteries with pieces of 75/13 and 100/17.
It took its name from the cruiser "Bartolomeo Colleoni" from whom it also inherited the motto "Veloce e Veemente". The frieze was that of the Marò della Decima with the characteristic of two crossed cannons, high above the ship.
