Badge of the Mazzarini Paratroopers Battalion

Established in Brescia in September 1943, the battalion, under the command of the Genovese captain and initially called "FULGOR", was divided into two operating companies plus a command company. Later transferred to the province, in Rovato, 15 March 1944 the name was changed to 1st Paratrooper Battalion of the G.N.R. "MAZZARINI", first fallen in the unit, killed in an attack in Brescia.
